EUROSMART
together with ERCIM, Certifications bodies, and evaluation laboratories
worked on a common proposal, ISCI.
ISCI is a new standardisation initiative submitted within the
IST framework. Its aim is to define and promote a universal framework
for security evaluation and certification methods, tools and procedure
based on internationally accepted standards.
ISCI was evaluated in June by the European
Commission and was not successful. However EUROSMART wil carry
on the work and invite the Japanese to join. |
