Eurosmart supports the EU-wide deployment of life-saving in-car e-Call system

On 4 May 2010, Eurosmart Chairman Marc Bertin signed the Memorandum of Understanding on e-Call - the in-car emergency call system - to support the EU-wide deployment of intelligent transport systems.

Participating to the signature ceremony organised by the European Commission in Brussels, Marc Bertin declared: "The Smart Security Industry represented by Eurosmart has committed today to support the European Commission on the e-Call project and is proposing its expertise to contribute to the systems' interoperability, with the proper level of security".
