Eurosmart elects a new Bureau and welcomes new members

Eurosmart General Assembly gathering on the 20th of May 2010 in Infineon premises in Munich unanimously elected a new Bureau for the Association.
Chairman : Marc Bertin (Oberthur Technologies)
Vice-Chairmen : Oyvind Rastad (Gemalto) and Thomas Froschmeier (Giesecke & Devrient)
Treasurer : Dr. Helmut Gassel (Infineon)
General Secretary : Bruno Dupont
New members joining our Association
Eurosmart welcomed four new members that will complete and enlarge our expertise:
- As associated members
Danish Biometrics
- Babysmart : an association of small and medium size enterprises specialized in Secure portable objects
- Danish Biometrics : a network created to promote the sustainable use of biometrics as ID technology and to disseminate valuable information underlining usability and interoperability with a special focus on research and development
- CEA-Leti : an evaluation and certification lab with R&D activity in secure hardware devices
- As individual member
- Michel Koenig, as a representative of the academic people will contribute to Eurosmart's mission of education by improving the communication between Academic and Industry worlds about the smart card applications and developments.
