How to join Eurosmart?

In order to become a member of Eurosmart, one must fill in the online application form AND This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it to the Chairman stating one's motivation for joining and, when the applicant is a company, describing their activities in Europe.

 

There are several levels of membership in Eurosmart, depending on the nature of the member and its wish to commit.

Executive members

Who they are
- Smart Secure Devices manufacturers, including Smart Cards manufacturers; or
- Smart Secure Devices integrated circuit manufacturers; or
- Manufacturers of terminals, Smart Secure Devices accepting devices; or
- Manufacturers of equipment accepting Secure Devices (including personalisation machines);

- System integrators, software or service houses industrialists.

 

Annual fees: 20 000 €

Active members

Who they are
- Smart Secure Devices manufacturers, including Smart Cards manufacturers; or
- Smart Secure Devices integrated circuit manufacturers; or
- Manufacturers of terminals Smart Secure Devices accepting devices; or
- Manufacturers of equipment accepting Secure Devices (including personalisation machines);
- System integrators, software or service-house industrialists.

 

Annual fees: 10 000 €

Partners

Who they are
Partners are Smart Secure Devices and solutions issuers, service providers, operators and organisations with an interest in staying abreast of the developments in smart security technology.

Associated members

Who they are
Associated members are universities, educational institutions, governments, public laboratories and not-for-profit profit organisations. They have an interest in staying abreast of the developments in smart security technology and can benefit the association through their expertise and global activity.

Individual members

 

To become an individual member, the applicant must get the written support and sponsoring of two members of the Steering Committee. The Bureau decides by unanimous consent on the application of individual members for a one-year renewable membership.

 

Who they are
Individual members are independent experts, industry experts, free-lance consultants and personalities in the smart security industry who have an interest in staying abreast of the devleopments in smart security technology and would like to support Eurosmart activities and bring benefits to the association through their expertise.

Participation is for one year and is renewable. A contract, signed by the Chairman and presented each year to the SC, should define, among other things, how to behave (not to abuse Eurosmart's logo, commit to removing logo from all publications, business cards, web site when the status is lost, etc.).
