Eurosmart’s feedback on the Data Governance Act is live!

Last November, the European Commission published a legislative proposal for a Data Governance Act (see previous briefing here). The objective of this legislation is to facilitate data sharing by increasing trust in data intermediaries. Ultimately, this legislation will support the creation of common European data spaces in specific sectors (agriculture, health etc.).

The European Commission is currently receiving feedback on this proposal. Eurosmart decided to contribute to underline the importance of digital sovereignty and security, but also to promote its paper advocating for an AI Competence Centre.

Please find below the link to Eurosmart’s feedback, officially published on the Commission’s website.
