Call for experts: Strategic Advisory Board for the Quantum Technology Flagship
The European Commission is looking for industry experts to join the Strategic Advisory Board for the Quantum Technology Flagship. This Flagship is an EU initiative that funds projects in the quantum domain.
The Strategic Board was established to provide advice for strategic decision-making to the Quantum Technology Flagship.
Composition of the group
Up to 18 members. At least 7 members shall be organisations from the industrial sector. Up to 9 members shall be independent experts from academia and Research & Technology Organisations.
Member organisations are appointed for 2 years. The term of office may be renewed.

Selection criteria
DG CNECT will take the following criteria into account when assessing applications from organisations from the industrial sector:
1. Proven and relevant competence and experience in quantum technologies and their industrial exploitation, in particular in the fields of quantum and secure communication, (quantum) networks, quantum computing and quantum sensing;
2. Proven and relevant experience both on the research and technology level, as well as in bringing new technologies to the market;
3. Proven and relevant competence as regards end-users demands on quantum technologies;
4. Competence, experience and hierarchical level of the proposed representatives;
5. Good knowledge of the English language of the organisations' representatives, allowing active participation in the discussions.
