Review of the General Product Safety Directive: feedback period open
The European Commission proposed new safety rules at the end of last month (see previous briefing here). The Commission’s proposal would replace the current General Product Safety Directive. The European Commission is currently collecting feedback on its proposal for a Regulation.
Interested stakeholders can provide feedback on the proposal until 3 September 2021.
