eu-LISA Annual Conference “Towards the Digital Schengen Area”
On 27 October, eu-LISA, the EU agency in charge of large-scale IT systems (SIS II, Visa Information System, Eurodac etc.), will host its Annual Conference. The event is organised in cooperation with the Slovenian Presidency of the Council of the EU.
This year’s conference will tackle the topics of the Entry-Exit System, the European Travel Information Authorisation System (ETIAS), and the new interoperability architecture for EU’s external borders. The EU is progressively moving towards centralised and standardised information systems in the domain of Justice and Home Affairs.
Speakers include Commissioner Ylva Johansson, Slovenia’s Ministry of Interior, the executive director of eu-LISA, MEPs, and other high-level speakers.
