European Commission presents its Global Gateway strategy
On 1 December, the European Commission presented the Global Gateway. This initiative aims to connect Europe with the rest of the world through large-scale infrastructure projetcs (transport, energy, digital etc.). The Global Gateway is a direct answer to China’s Belt and Road initiative.
The EU will mobilise up to 300 billion euros in investments between 2021 and 2027.
