Priorities of the French Presidency of the Council of the EU
France will take the Presidency of the Council of the EU for the first half of 2022. You can find the link to the French programme below. You will also find some interesting documents, such as the message from President Emmanuel Macron.
When it comes to digital topics, the French Presidency will focus on the economic regulation and accountability of platforms (Digital Services Act, Digital Markets Act). The negotiations between the Council and the European Parliament on these files will start soon.
