Funding and tender opportunities: new calls
On 21 June, the European Commission opened new calls for proposals in the context of the European Defence Fund (EDF). Among other things, the calls cover the following topics:
-Cybersecurity and systems for improved resilience
-Innovative multi-sensor space-based Earth observation capabilities towards persistent and reactive ISR
-Cyber and information warfare toolbox
-Shared databases and integrated systems for image recognition
-Adapting cyber situational awareness for evolving computing environments
In addition, the European Commission published a call for tenders for a pre-commercial procurement on AI based solutions for public transport safety. A group of 13 public transport buyers from 6 EU countries invites potentially interested suppliers to submit offers to develop and test innovative prototypes for automatic detection of potentially dangerous unattended items and perpetrators in public transport.
