GlobalPlatform is setting the stage to discuss digital identity and more during its eID Wallet Seminar on April 26 (Brussels and Virtual, 9am-5pm CET).
Join leading industry security experts and representatives involved in the development, deployment and regulation of national eID, as they discuss how standardized technologies can future-proof eID wallet deployments across Europe.
Aimed at European regulators, government representatives and all stakeholders involved in the deployment and issuing of eID schemes in the EU, GlobalPlatform’s full-day seminar will include different perspectives from various stakeholders, including:
- Future-proofing digital identity in Europe with security and trust by ensuring end to end security and interoperability;
- Different technical deployment models for eID wallets available today;
- Using the SIM for eID wallets and the future Secure Application on Mobile (SAM) model;
- Future outlook and benefits of certification for eID wallets.
Eurosmart will be joining a panel discussion to explore future approaches for certification.
The seminar will be held from 9am–5pm CET on April 26 at the Thon Hotel EU in Brussels, Belgium, and virtually for anyone unable to attend in person.
