SUMMARY:ENISA-ESOs Cybersecurity Standardization and the Cybersecurity Act: Where are we today?
DESCRIPTION:Why\nThe draft “EU Cybersecurity Act”\, proposed one year ago\, intends to establish a European cybersecurity certification framework for ICT products\, services and processes. Standardisation will play an important role in the new framework. It is therefore crucial for all stakeholders (standardizers\, policy makers\, industry) to check where we stand today. \nWhat\nThe conference will discuss the remaining challenges in the standardisation landscape for Cybersecurity in light of the new Act. The consequences for policy makers\, industry\, citizens\, certification bodies\, and the European Standardization System will be also covered. \nAttendees will have a clearer view on the current standardization activities related to the proposed Act and will be able to contribute to the discussions between policy makers and standardizers on e.g. the following questions: \nWhat is the role of standardisation towards the draft Cybersecurity Act?\nWhere are the ESOs active to support the certifications schemes?\nWhich domains should ESOs work on in priority? \nFor whom\nThe conference aims to foster the dialogue among policy makers\, industry\, research\, standardization organizations\, certification organizations and those involved in the development of the ICT certification framework in Europe\, in view of an effective implementation of the Cybersecurity Act upon its adoption. \nAgenda \nDraft agenda of the conference is already published (subject to changes). \n
